County Commissioner County Down

As many of you will be aware Stephen Wilton has stepped down from the role of County Commissioner for personal reasons with immediate effect. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Stephen for his hard work and dedication to County Down over the last number of years and to wish him well in the future. I hope that he may be able to return to Scouting in the future.
I have asked Rodney Watson County Commissioner for County Armagh to take over the role of County Commissioner until we can in due course begin a search for a full time replacement for Stephen. Many of you will know Rodney and I would ask that you give him your full support as we continue the work of Scouting in Down.
I know these are challenging times for us all and I wish you good health and the ability to stay safe through this crisis and look forward to being able to resume Scout activities as soon as possible.
Rodney can be contacted on DownCC@scoutsni.org

Regards
Stephen Donaldson
Chief commissioner, Scouts NI
