Our New Website Goes Live!

We are absolutely thrilled that the new website for County Down Scouts is going live today after such hard work and determination from ourselves at Scout Websites and the fantastic County team.

We were approached by County Down with the task of building a functional, responsive and exciting WordPress website. Alongside looking the part, the website also had to cater to the County’s main aim; providing information to current members through the avenues of news, events and resources.

We were extremely pleased when we found out County Down had chosen us to take on this project. We believe this was down to excellent communication, understanding the brief from the beginning, and our passion for Scouting: we wanted to make the website an amazing place for Scouters and non-Scouters to find the information they needed. The County also needed a new email system allowing the County team to have their own personal County Down Scouts accounts, and we’ve launched this too.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with the whole County team and we have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside them on this project. The team have been brilliant with providing feedback and content, and we’re really proud of having them onboard.
County Commissioner Stephen Wilton said: “I am delighted with our new website. The website will now provide the us with a communication platform to enable to us to put information out to our adult volunteers. Scout Websites have been fantastic supporting us throughout the project!”
